In the visual language of the ATHM the line work of the logotype speaks to the most basic element of what textiles are made of, thread. It does this while maintaining legibility and a clean modernist approach, removing any suspicion of quaintness from the museum.
The main color palette of deep red and white serves as a reserved nod to the colonial history of the country, without becoming cartoonish red white and blue.
